Richard Landon and George Hopkins
represented MCTC, Bob Fujii represented the Regional Water
Quality Control Board (RWQCB) and Tony Landis and I represented
the DHS.
The following items were discussed:
o A downgradient well has been completed in the company
parking lot.
o A well at 116 Gertrude Street in Stockton was listed as
inoperative in the off-site Sampling Report, dated
March 24 , 1985. DHS will require an evaluation from Black
and Veatch that the groundwater plume has been
adequately defined.
o DHS requested preliminary data from soil sampling
efforts including background samples, Soil Assessment
Plan samples and off-site borehole samples. Richard
Landon said that MCTC' s consultants and attorney want
to hold data until submittal of final reports.
I explained how important it is for DHS to have the preliminary
data, in order to start evaluating it.
