Since there is no evidence to link the solvent
plume to this UST release, PHS/EHD will not require additional investigation of the solvent plume as a i
condition for closure of the waste oil UST.
The presence of solvents in the groundwater beneath this site will be disclosed in any future
correspondence. Currently there is no evidence which may eliminate an alternative on site source as
the cause of the groundwater contamination detected in monitoring well DMW 5. As a result this site
will be ineligible to receive unconditional site closure. j
For further information please contact Steven Sasson at (209) 468-3459.
Donna Heran, RENS, Director
Environmental Health Division
Jte asson, 5enioREHS Margareagorio, REH
Site Mitigation Unit Lead Senior i
SS
c: James Brathovde, CVRWQCB
c: John Menke, Dames and Moore ;
c: Bemle Sloop, American Moulding and Millworks
c: Walter Lohman, Kirkland and Ellis
A Division of San Joaquin County Health Care Services
