The fallowing information is enclosed:
Figure 61 two laboratory reports prepared July 1, 1987 for satrapies collected from
15 and 25.5 feet below ground surface(bgs) from Soil Baring B-13 and analyzed for
abluents by EPA Method 8244. The Figure and reports are copied.from the November
1987 report "Soil and Groundwater Assessment, American Molding and Millwork"
prepared by Meinfelder Associates. The soil sample was collected before the waste
oil tank Was removed.
' Copies from Appendix C in the May 1992 report "Site Remediation Report, Former
American Forest Products Facility, 2801 West I..ane, Stockton, California" prepared
by Darrae9 &Moore. The Appendix presents records for removal of tanks from the
site in 1988(including Tank#5, the waste oil tank), and show that, at the request of
the San Joaquin Local Health District, samples from 13 feet bgs under the waste oil
tame were submitted ro California weer Labs and analyzed for different TPH ranges,
BETX(EPA Method 8020), PCBs, and chlorinated solvents (EPA Method 8x10). It
is our understanding that no solvents were detected in the samples; however, when the
site records w=requested from the San Joaquin Health District in December 199(),
the laboratory results icor the Method 8010 analyses were not included.
• Pages 11-13, Table 1, and a laboratory report for a sample collected March 23, 1990
and analyzed for chlorinated solvents by FFA 1VMethod 543018410. As indicated on
Page 12, the sample analyzed was collected from beneath the former waste oil tank at
the site.
R:LSAL1A961q 41_F[f'D
0FFIM W0A[!)7Y9(1F
