The samples collected in 1987 were analyzed for polynuclear aromatic hydrocarbons (EPA
Method 610) and TPH/D (EPA Method 8015), and the sample collected in January 1989, were analyzed
for TPHID and volatile organic compounds (EPA Method 602) No detectable constituents were reported
in either of these water sampling events
In
July 1990, Dames & Moore abandoned the JHKA wells and installed four new groundwater
' monitoring wells (DMW-1, DMW-2, DMW-3, and DMW-4, Figure 2 1) in accordance with the "Soil
Remediation and Groundwater Monitoring Workplan" (Dames & Moore, 1990) The locations of the
wells are shown in Figure 2 1 of this report The Workplan specified that groundwater monitoring wells
' be sampled on a quarterly basis for one year To date, four rounds of water sampling have occurred on
August 1, 1990, December 5, 1990, March 13, 1991 and July 30, 1991, and two reports describing the
methods, chain of custody documentation, groundwater samples and duplicate analytical results have been
submitted to the RWQCB Results from these and all previous groundwater samples are discussed in
Section 3 0
1
1
SAC36 046 10
