CLOSURE REQUEST REPORT Section No 5 0
Former American Forest Products Company 07/31/01
2801 West Lane Page 5-4
Stockton,California
plume Samples collected from clustered well pairs indicate that the groundwater data collected from the
submerged wells indicated that the water table samples have higher TPH concentrations Because the
new wells were installed in the areas of maximum soil impacts, the reported TPH concentrations in
samples from these wells are assumed to represent maximum groundwater impacts at the site The lower
concentrations in samples collected from below the water table indicate that dissolved concentrations are
generally near or below the 100 pg/L guideline concentration Finally, diesel phase was not encountered
at the new wells, and has never been reported at the site, indicating that the severity of diesel impacts is
minimal
16. Analysis of groundwater samples for fuel oxygenates and 1,2-DCA.
As regeuested by the PHS-EHD, groundwater samples were collected and anaylzed for fuel oygenates
and 1,2-DCA in order to assess potential impacts from fuel additives Samples were collected during
August 2000 and November 2000 Fuel oxygenates included ethanol, methanol, t-butanol, 1,2-DCA, tert-
amyl methyl ether, tert-butyl ethyl ether, isopropyl ether, and methyl tert-butyl ether
K 184019`afplafp_closure_rpt doc 07/31/01 3 24 PM
