S A N J D AR I N Environmental Health Department <br /> (L) j ;"� i y <br /> Small Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Core&Main, LP FP 732 1 1615 S STOCKTON ST, LODI December 17, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 101 CCR 66262.12 Managed a hazardous waste without an identification number. <br /> OBSERVATION: This business does not have an active hazardous waste ID number in the California Department <br /> of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC)database. <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: A hazardous waste generator shall not treat, store, dispose of,transport or offer for <br /> transportation, hazardous waste without having received an Environmental Protection Agency(EPA) Identification <br /> (ID) Number.A State EPA ID number is required for generators of less than 100 kg RCRA hazardous waste per <br /> month, less than 1 kg of acutely hazardous waste per month or any amount of non-RCRA hazardous waste. ID <br /> numbers are unique to a business and site location. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Go to the DTSC web site at https://dtsc.ca.gov/apply-for-hazardous-waste-epa-id-number/ <br /> to reactivate your State ID number. Immediately reactivate your ID number and submit evidence to the San <br /> Joaquin County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> 302 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain required emergency equipment. <br /> OBSERVATION: The facility has equipment that needs to be maintained. In the front of the threading department <br /> there is one fire extinguisher that is pointing to'recharge." <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: <br /> All facilities shall be equipped with the following, unless it can be demonstrated to the Department that none of the <br /> hazards posed by waste handled at the facility could require a particular kind of equipment specified below: <br /> (a)an internal communications or alarm system capable of providing immediate emergency instruction (voice or <br /> signal)to facility personnel; <br /> (b)a device, such as a telephone (immediately available at the scene of operations)or a hand-held two-way radio, <br /> capable of summoning emergency assistance from local police departments,fire departments, or State or local <br /> emergency response teams; <br /> (c)portable fire extinguishers,fire control equipment(including special extinguishing equipment, such as that using <br /> foam, inert gas, or dry chemicals), spill control equipment, and decontamination equipment; and <br /> (d)water at adequate volume and pressure to supply water hose streams, or foam producing equipment, or <br /> automatic sprinklers, or water spray systems . <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately bring fire extinguisher into proper working order by repair, replacement, <br /> recharging, or testing. Provide a corrective action statement and supporting documentation to the San Joaquin <br /> County Environmental Health Department within 30 days. <br /> This is a minor violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by January 16, 2020. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate ($152).
