Washington Street, Stockton
Chapter 7 Bankruptcy procedure: 287-04176-A-7
Dear Ms . Thayer:
I am in receipt of a copy of the June 14 , 1994 letter sent to you
by Donna Heran, Director of Environmental Health Division, San
Joaquin County Public Health stating that all the proper remedial
actions on the Stockton property have been performed, and that the
Public Health office recommends site certification.
This letter is to urge your response to this recommendation as soon
as possible.
While I am deeply aware of the large workload that your office is
under, I must remind you of the pressures which I am receiving from
the Department of Justice, United States Trustee ' s Office, and the
Eastern District Bankruptcy Court for the closure of this old
bankruptcy case . As I previously explained to you, I cannot close
the case until the last asset (the Stockton property) has been
sold. This of course is impossible until site certification is
obtained.
I have appreciated the cooperation I have received from you in the
past, and look forward to hearing from you at your very earliest
convenience.
Very truly yours ,
CATHERINE WHITWORTH
Trustee in Bankruptcy
C? ,Ij
,,i;I13
