Thomas deArth will be the Corporate Health and Safety Officer for <br /> the Project. <br /> 2.6 Quality Assurance Manager <br /> The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for reviewing data deliverables (both <br /> hard copy and electronic data deliverables)to ensure their consistency with corporate data <br /> entry and analyses procedures and with the Data Quality Objectives as outlined in Section 4. <br /> The QA Manager will review the analytical laboratory's QA/QC results, and may audit the <br /> analytical laboratory's QA/QC policies and procedures. The QA Manager will identify <br /> deviations from corporate QC procedures and will report them directly to the Executive <br /> Management Team with a copy to the Project Principal and Project Manager. Todd Williams <br /> will be the Quality Assurance Manager for the Project. <br /> 2.7 Laboratory Quality Control Manager <br /> The Laboratory QC Manager will be designated by the subcontracted State of California <br /> • Certified analytical laboratory and is responsible for ensuring that the analytical laboratory <br /> implements the requirements of this QAPP. <br /> 3.0 ANALYTICAL PROGRAM <br /> Soil, drilling mud, and groundwater samples will be collected and analyzed for the <br /> constituents outlined in the SAP. Analytical test methods are set forth by the U.S. <br /> Environmental Protection Agency(U.S. EPA) in Test Methods for Evaluating Solid and <br /> Hazardous Wastes, Physical and Chemical Methods (SW-846). <br /> 4.0 DATA QUALITY OBJECTIVES <br /> Data Quality Objectives are qualitative and quantitative statements developed by data users <br /> to specify the quality of data needed from a particular data collection activity to support <br /> specific decisions or regulatory actions. The process for developing Data Quality Objectives <br /> is described in Data Quality Objectives for Remedial Activities(U.S. EPA 1987). <br /> Data gathered during the investigation to Establish Background Concentrations will be used <br /> to evaluate the nature and extent of compounds present in native soil and groundwater and <br /> establish soil and groundwater cleanup guidelines for Clean Closure of the Site.
