• Chlorinated Herbicides by USEPA Method 8151;
• pH/alkalinity; and
• Inorganics (ammonia-nitrogen,nitrogen-nitrate, sulfate,chloride) by
USEPA Methods SM 2320B and 300.
The three hand augered soil samples will be submitted for TPH (gasoline
and diesel range organics) by USEPA Method 8015 and pH/alkalinity.
If staining and/or odors are observed in any of the samples, other
laboratory analyses will include:
• TPH (gasoline and diesel range organics) by USEPA Method 8015;
• Volatile organic compounds by USEPA Method 8260; and
• Priority pollutant metals (antimony, arsenic,beryllium, cadmium,
chromium, copper, lead, mercury,nickel, selenium, silver,thallium,
and zinc) by USEPA Method 6010.
Groundwater samples will be collected for all the constituents listed
above. Both filtered (dissolved) and nonfiltered (total) priority pollutant
metals will be collected for analyses. However, the laboratory will be
directed to hold the filtered samples until results are received for the
unfiltered samples. The laboratory will be directed to analyze filtered
samples for metals that exceed regional ground water quality standards.
A duplicate sample will be collected at one of the temporary wells.
ERM 5 LESCO,U4C/W24301.00-12/21/04
