ARC© may, at its <br /> option, require that the Contractor perform a visual <br /> inspection of each Lease Premise for staining and possible <br /> ccnta-mination sources. ARCO shall prdvide:GThrifty with not <br /> less than three (3) business days notice prior to commencing <br /> any on-site work on each Lease Premises. Thrifty shall have <br /> h <br /> the right to observe all on-site subsurfa a investigation <br /> activities; ; rovided that ARCO shall not be required to delay <br /> { such activities. with respect to work performed prior to any <br /> applicable Effective Date, AFZCO's subsurface investigation I <br /> shall not unreasonably interfere wich 'Thrifty's operations. <br /> ARCO may adjust any Plan during the course'� of a subsurface <br /> investigation in its sole discretion (provided that any such � <br /> adjustment shall not extend ARCO's .deadiin'e for completing the <br /> work) . <br /> ,e <br /> (e) Thrifty shall have the right, in its <br /> sole discretion, at the time and during the course of each <br /> subsurface investigation, upon reasonable notice to ARCO which <br /> shall include Thrifty' s proposed scope of work, to conduct (or <br /> have the Contractor conduct) such additional subsurface <br /> ' investigation as it believes appropriate beyond the work <br /> a! specified by ARCO in the Plan; provided that such additional <br /> ',• F work shall not result in delaying the 'completion field work <br /> by the Contractor by more than fifteen (1S!:) days . Any �- <br /> additional subsurface investigation work conducted at <br /> Thri`ty's request shall be puz•suant to separate work order <br /> Thri1:ty' s sole cost and expense which " hai; not count towards <br /> the cost limits under Section 25 .3 .5 Hereof .
