It shall be unlawfulIfor any person to discharge any treated <br /> or untreated wastes that may be detrimental to the surface or ground vuaters of the County. Wastewater <br /> discharges shall meet the discharge standards set by the State Regional Water Quality Control Board <br /> (RWQCB) and the requirements contained in this Chapter. <br /> Section 9.1125.5 Duties of Director of Environmental Health Division. <br /> r ;I <br /> (a) It shall be the duty of the Director of the Environmental Health Division to enforce the (1#10114: <br /> provisions of this Chapter. The Director of the E=nvironmental Health Division shall have <br /> authority to review discharge requirements set by the State Regional Water Quality <br /> Control Board (RWQCS) and impose more restrictive 'discharge requirements not in <br /> conflict with RWoCB regulations. <br /> (b) When determined to be necessary, the Director of (Environmental Health shall notify <br /> I owners of wells on properties adjacent to property;containing a well that has been <br /> identified as containing contaminants above California&nking water standards that a well <br />` on the adjacent property has been so identified. <br /> Section 9-1125.6 Enforcement Procedures. Violation of the provisions of this Chapter shall constitute <br /> a public nuisance and, if not made to conform, shall be subject to the��enforcement procedures outlined <br /> in Section 9-1905.4, except that the Director of the Environmental Hearth Division steall be responsible for <br /> enforcement.
