This information was required to be submitted by <br />7/15/2019. This information has not been received resulting in a non-compliant status for this facility. An operator <br />that receives an inspection report shall have 30 days to submit a written response that includes a statement <br />documenting corrective actions taken or proposing corrective actions which will be taken. Ensure that a written <br />response documenting corrective actions taken or proposed is submitted within 30 days of receiving an inspection <br />report. <br />This is a repeat violation, Class II. <br /> 301 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Facility not maintained to minimize the release of a hazardous waste. <br />Oily dirt was observed on the ground near the used oil secondary containment. <br />Facilities shall be maintained and operated to minimize the possibility of a fire, explosion, or release of hazardous <br />waste to air, soil, or surface water which could threaten human health or the environment. Immediately clean the <br />area around the used oil secondary containment and manage according to Title 22 hazardous waste regulations. <br />Submit a statement and supporting documentation explaining how this waste was managed. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 303 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to maintain all communication or alarm systems, spill control, or decontamination <br />equipment. <br />Approximately 4 metal oil filters and an oily water mixture was observed in the used oil secondary containment. All <br />facility communications or alarm systems, fire protection equipment, spill control equipment, and decontamination <br />equipment, where required, shall be tested and maintained as necessary to assure its proper operation in time of <br />emergency. Immediately clean the secondary containment and begin this practice. <br />This is a minor violation. <br /> 403 CCR 66262.34(d)(2) Failed to keep hazardous waste containers closed except when adding or removing hazardous <br />waste. <br />A pile of metal fines (enough to fill a 1 gallon bucket) was observed in an open container next to several machines. <br />All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste.
