Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton,CA 95205 Y <br /> Dear Ms. Sullivan: <br /> Caltrans has reviewed the Notice of Preparation of an EIR for Buckeye Ranch and offers <br /> the following comments: <br /> The EIR should provide a traffic analysis which identifies the traffic impacts which will <br /> result on the streets and roads in the general area of the project. The analysis is required <br /> to show current and projected daily traffic, peak hour conditions, directional split, peak <br /> hour turning movements and resulting levels of service. Cumulative traffic impacts from <br /> other developments in the vicinity of the project should be included. The analysis <br /> should identify and recommend potential mainline, interchange, ramp and intersection <br /> improvements as appropriate mitigation for significant impacts. The cost of mitigation <br /> and funding accountability should also be addressed. <br /> Caltrans is specifically interested in the impacts which will result on Route 99 and at the <br /> intersections of Route 99 with Liberty Road and Jahant Road. <br /> We appreciate the opportunity to comment on this Notice of Preparation.
