Site Description: This site consists of a sparse shell scatter with one substantial depression <br /> which may represent a semi-subterranean structure. <br /> 10. Area 34 m (N-S) by 90 m (E-V); 2403 ml <br /> Method of Determination: Compass and taping, with boundaries determined based on the <br /> presence of shell and checked with carbonate testing. <br /> 11. Depth: unknown Method of Determination: <br /> 12. Features: One oval depression —55 cm in depth, and 13 meters at greatest width. This <br /> depression may represent the remains of a semi-subterranean structure. A second shallow <br /> depression (natural?) is located to the southeast. Ananian and Rice (1991) mention 4 "house <br /> floors" in their site record, while indicating only three of these on their sketch map. <br /> 13. Artifacts: No artifacts were observed during this field visit. Fragments of baked clay were <br /> noted during the 1991 recordation by Ananian and Rice. <br /> 14.
