Site Disturbances: A dirt access road crosses over the southern boundary of the site. An <br /> historic levee .may have disturbed the northern boundary of the site (soil <br /> used to build up the levee?). The area has been used for grazing, and there was evidence <br /> of recent disking paralleling the south side of the levee and a strip bisecting the site. <br /> 20. Nearest Water: An inlet of. _ (at present-dry). The <br /> Mokelumne River lies ow 800 meters SW. <br /> 21. Vegetation Community (site vicinity): Oak buckeye savannah. <br /> 22. Vegetation (on site): Introduced grasses and tarweed. Ground visibility was obscured by <br /> a dense cover of dry grass. <br /> 23.
