TASK 5: SUBMIT ADMINISTRATIVE DRAFT EIR <br /> Jones & Stokes Associates will prepare the administrative draft EIR and submit six <br /> copies to the county for review and comment. Additional copies can be provided on a time- <br /> and-materials basis. The administrative draft EIR is intended to be our best effort at <br /> addressing all the significant environmental issues raised at the scoping meeting and in <br /> comment letters received during the NOP process. The detailed scope for each issue to be <br /> covered in the administrative draft EIR is described in Section III of this proposal. <br /> TASK 6: MEET WITH COUNTY STAFF TO REVIEW COMMENTS <br /> AND RECEIVE ONE MARKED-UP DRAFT <br /> Following the county's 2-week review of the administrative draft EIR, the Jones & <br /> Stokes Associates project manager will meet with county staff to discuss comments and <br /> revisions. This meeting would require 2-4 hours depending on the number of comments and <br /> issues that will be discussed. Under this task, we also will receive one marked-up draft of <br /> the administrative draft EIR in which the county has combined all the comments received <br /> from the various departments and reviewers of the administrative draft EIR. <br /> TASK 7: SUBMIT DRAFT EIR <br /> After incorporating revisions required by the county, Jones & Stokes Associates will <br /> submit 100 copies of the draft EIR to the county for distribution and 45-day public review. <br /> If requested by the county, Jones & Stokes Associates can perform the following services <br /> on a time-and-materials basis: <br /> ■ submit a camera-ready original of the draft EIR to the county, <br /> ■ submit an IBM-compatible disk copy of the draft EIR to the county, <br /> ■ publish additional copies of the draft EIR, <br /> ■ distribute the draft EIR, <br /> ■ prepare the notice of completion of a draft EIR, <br /> ■ prepare the notice of availability of a draft EIR, and <br /> ■ deliver the notice of completion and 10 copies of the draft EIR to the State <br /> Clearinghouse. <br /> II-4 <br />
