TASK 8: SUBMIT ADMINISTRATIVE FINAL EIR
Following the 45-day review and comment period on the draft EIR, the Jones &
Stokes Associates project manager will meet with county staff to determine the precise scope
and format of the final EIR. The county's preferred approach is to prepare a final EIR as
a single document that includes all necessary revisions to the text of the draft EIR and
comments and responses section. Once the approach for the final EIR has been
determined, Jones & Stokes Associates will discuss an approach to responding to each
significant environmental issue raised in the comments on the draft EIR. Once the
approach to the issues is finalized,Jones & Stokes Associates will prepare the administrative
final EIR, which will contain the revised draft EIR; copies of all written comments; a
summary of all verbal comments; and responses to all environmental comments deemed
significant by the county and Jones & Stokes Associates. Jones & Stokes Associates will
submit six copies of the administrative final EIR to the county for review and comment.
TASK 9: MEET WITH COUNTY STAFF TO REVIEW COMMENTS
AND RECEIVE ONE MARKED-UP DRAFT
Following the county's 2-week review of the administrative final EIR, the Jones &
Stokes Associates project manager will meet with county staff to discuss comments and
revisions.
