U. S. Forest Service, Lassen National Forest. Wildlife biologist. Coordinated <br /> wildlife needs with timber, range, fire, and recreation management; road construc- <br /> tion; and energy and minerals development. Served on the interdisciplinary team <br /> that prepared the forest land and resource management plan. Planned and <br /> conducted habitat improvements, including prescribed burning for deer manage- <br /> ment, restoration of meadows and riparian woodlands, waterfowl nesting habitat <br /> enhancement, stream stabilization, and instream fish habitat improvement. Managed <br /> and monitored sensitive species, including peregrine falcon, bald eagle, osprey, <br /> spotted owl, and furbearers;developed management plans,silvicultural prescriptions, k' <br /> and mitigation measurements. Served as principal writer and technical editor for the <br /> northeastern California Wildlife Habitat Relationships program.
