Hazelton Avenue <br /> Stockton, CA 95202 <br /> RE: ER-91-2 <br /> Buckeye Ranch Project <br /> Lodi Linds Airport <br /> Dear Ms. Sullivan: <br /> Thank you for submitting the above-referenced proposal to the San Joaquin County Airport <br /> Land Use Commission for review and comment. State law requires land uses within airport <br /> areas of influence to conform with the Airport Land Use Plan. <br /> Based on the information in the Draft EIR, p. 4.1-14, it appears that the reclamation of <br /> Tracy Lake will not have a significant effect on airport operations of the Lodi Linds Airport <br /> by creating a bird hazard. Staff therefore finds that the proposal conforms with the San B11 <br /> Joaquin County Airport Land Use Plan. In the case of general plan amendments and zoning <br /> ordinance changes, the Airport Lai.d Use Commission makes a formal ruling on the <br /> application in question. Also, if staff recommends that an application be found out of <br /> conformance with the ALUP, that recommendation will also be forwarded to the Commission <br /> for a ruling.
