Dependent upon the material available, pollen and soil analysis representative <br /> of each site locality should be performed. <br /> A survey of the proposed access road south of the river should be completed to avoid <br /> impact to the previously recorded two sites in the vicinity. <br /> 1-2 Potentially Significant Impact: Development of the prosect would increase access to the sites <br /> resulting in increased vandalism and destruction of the cultural resources. <br /> Housing and recreation maintenance activities would likely result in degradation of this <br /> complex with the relocation, repair or addition of subsurface utility and sewage lines, and by <br /> solid compaction and irrigation of golf and equestrian activities. <br /> Finding: Changes or alterations have been required in, or incorporated into, the project which <br /> avoid or substantially lessen the significant environmental effect as identified in the FEIR. <br /> These mitigation measures are listed below. <br /> Statement of Fact: <br /> This impact will be reduced by the following: <br /> All areas of high archaeological sensitivity shall be fenced during construction <br /> activities, and under the protection of a third-party professional organization. <br /> Residents shall be informed of the archaeological significance of the area and alerted <br /> to the potential vandalism which occurs with archaeological sites. <br /> clfa\buckeye.fin <br /> —14— <br />
