SAN J O A Q U I N Environmental Health Department <br /> U ''11 1 Y <br /> Large Quantity Hazardous Waste Generator Inspection Report <br /> Facility Name: Facility Address: Date: <br /> Stockton SSYAP, LLC 3175 S HWY 99 FRONTAGE RD, Stockton September 10, 2019 <br /> SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br /> (CLASS I,CLASS II,or MINOR-Notice to Comply) <br /> Item# Remarks <br /> 607 CCR 66266.81(b) Damaged lead acid batteries not properly managed and labeled. <br /> OBSERVATION: <br /> -One lead acid battery was observed with a damaged corner and was actively leaking onto the cardboard it was <br /> sitting on in the vehicle processing area <br /> -One damaged lead acid battery was observed on a pallet of used lead acid batteries inside the warehouse <br /> REGULATION GUIDANCE: Damaged or leaking lead acid batteries shall be stored in a closed, structurally sound <br /> container that is compatible with the battery and its contents. <br /> CORRECTIVE ACTION: Immediately place these batteries in a closed, structurally sound container that is <br /> compatible with the battery and its contents and label them with an initial date of accumulation. Provide a corrective <br /> action statement to the EHD. <br /> This is a Class II violation. <br /> Overall Inspection Comments: <br /> Complete and submit a copy of the Return to Compliance Certification form to the EHD with a statement <br /> documenting the corrective actions that have been or will be taken for each violation, and any supporting <br /> paperwork, by October 10, 2019. <br /> Starting September 1, 2018, all in-office CERS help will be provided at EHD hourly rate($152). To schedule an <br /> appointment, please call (209)468-3420. <br /> Documents provided during inspection: Return to Compliance certification,flyer for free CUPA classes, model <br /> tank assessment, daily tank inspection log template <br /> Waste streams found: <br /> -Used Oil <br /> -Used Antifreeze <br /> -Mercury Switches <br /> -Oily Debris/Rocks <br /> -Waste Gasoline <br /> -Drained Used Filters <br /> -Used Brake Fluid <br /> -Used Lead Acid Batteries <br /> Notes: One blue plastic 55 gallon drum of waste gasoline was observed without hazardous properties on the <br /> label in the vehicle processing area. This was corrected on site. One white plastic 55 gallon drum of waste <br /> gasoline was observed without hazardous properties on the label in the vehicle processing area. This was <br /> corrected on site. One black metal 55 gallon container of oily debris was observed without hazardous properties <br /> on the label in the vehicle processing area.
