Box 388 <br /> Stockton, CA 95201-0388 <br /> Subject: Well Destruction.Application, Former Coca-Cola Distribution Facility, <br /> 1100 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California <br /> Dear Ms Turkatte: <br /> Coca-Cola Enterprises, Inc. has recently been granted case closure by the San Joaquin <br /> County Public Health Services, Environmental Health Division (PHS/EHD) for their <br /> distribution.facility located at 1100 North Wilson Way, Stockton, California. Smith <br /> Environmental Technologies,Corporation has been .requested by Coca-Cola to conduct <br /> final closure activities at the site including abandoning 14 existing groundwater monitoring <br /> and vapor .extraction wells at the site. All the wells will -be abandoned by pressure <br /> grouting the casing and sandpack with a cement/bentonite grout mixture, leaving the <br /> casing,in-place. The well.box frames will remain in place, only the lids will be removed. <br /> The top two to four feet of each boring will be backfilled, flush with the well box frame, <br /> with concrete, asphalt patch, or native soil to match the existing surface.
