REMEDIAL ACTION PLAN <br /> COCA-COLA ENTERPRISES -WEST <br /> DISTItIIIUTION FACILITY <br /> 1100 NORTH WILSON WAY <br /> STOCKTON,CALIFORNIA <br /> k <br /> USTEC JOS NO. 90054.03 <br /> r t <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> U.S.Technical Environmental Consulti.1g, Inc. (USTEC) has prepared a Remedial Action Plan <br /> ` (RAP) for the inactive Coca-Cola distribution facility located at 1100 North Wilson Way, <br /> Stockton, California. The RAP was prepared at the request of Mr. Steven M. McConnell, <br /> 1 Division Manager of occupational 'Environmental Safety for Coca-Cola Enterprises-West(CCE- <br /> I <br /> W) <br /> The RAP presents a conceptual remedial system design for remediation of hydrocarbon <br /> ! contaminated soils which occurred as a result of a leaking underground storage tank(UST)at <br /> may^ the Stockton site. The characteristics of the site are described in USTEC's Contamination <br /> } Assessment Report (CAR) dated November 30, 1990. The CAR was approved by the San <br /> Joaquin County Public Health Services an February 11,1991. The letter of approval is included <br /> I E <br /> i in Appendix A. <br /> i <br /> 1,1 SITE DESCRIPTION <br /> The site address was 1100 North Wilson Way,Stockton,California. The facility was located in <br /> T.i <br /> Section 31,Township 1 North,Range 6 East,San Joaquin County (Figure 1). The property was <br /> t bounded by Wilson Way to the west,Roosevelt Street to the south and School Street to the east. <br /> A motel and vacant lot were located north of the facility. <br /> The site was an abandoned warehouse and distribution facility at the time of USTEC's <br /> f assessment. Buildings were present on both sides of an east-west concrete drive with access to <br /> Wilson Way and School Streets. A brick two-story office building was located in the southwest <br /> -- --- --- <br /> property corner. A solid waste incinerator and a CO, production unit was located in the <br /> - - - -- - -- <br /> s southeast earner aE the property. A covered metal service bay was located along the southern-- <br /> ~ ry. <br /> bounda Covered service bays were also located along the north property boundary <br /> property <br />
