When heated, the <br /> resistance heating elements form a self-protective oxide laver on their surface <br /> 1 <br /> 5.4.9 Process Flow Control Valves <br />' The unit contains four pneumatically actuated control valves which are used to reverse the <br /> direction of flow of the process stream through the combustion bed <br /> 5.4.10 Svstem Controls and Instrumentation <br />' A control panel is included for the unattended,automatic operation of the unit The panel meets <br /> all electrical codes and is capable of shutting down the system in the event of the following <br /> conditions <br /> 0 Bed temperature below 1,800°Fahrenheit <br />
