i <br /> 1.0 INTRODUCTION <br /> This Health and Safety Plan (HASP) was written regarding work described in the <br /> Site Investigation Work Plan for 35500 Welty Road, Vernalis, California Vernalis is located in <br /> San Joaquin County southeast of the city of Tracy (Site Investigation Work Plan Figures I and <br /> 2) The investigation will be conducted in the eastern corner of the property (Site Investigation <br /> Work Plan Figure 3) <br /> This HASP establishes the procedures, minimum safety and health requirements, <br /> and emergency response plans for Radian International LLC (Radian) personnel involved in <br /> drilling and associated work as described in the Site Investigation Work Plan for the Roberts <br /> Property site All Radian personnel working on this project must read, understand, and agree to <br /> implement this HASP's provisions <br /> This document will be provided to all subcontractors for informational purposes <br /> only Subcontractors will provide their own HASP to Radian if contractually required Before <br /> the field activities begin, each subcontractor will certify to the Radian Project Manager that their <br /> field personnel have all had a medical examination and 40-hour health and safety training, and <br /> that appropriate safety equipment will be available and used by the subcontractor's team All <br /> members of each subcontracting team will sign a statement verifying that they have read and <br /> understand their HASP <br /> Consideration was given to several references during development of this HASP <br /> These sources are listed in a bibliography in Section 11 0 <br /> i <br /> 1-1 <br />
