• Lifting hazards, <br /> • Slips, trips, and falls, <br /> • Electrical hazards, <br /> • Buried hazards, <br /> • Fire hazards, and <br /> • Steam cleaning of equipment <br /> Noise Exposure <br /> The noise level of the drilling rig will not equal or exceed an eight-hour TWA <br />` sound level of 85 decibels (dBA), therefore, hearing protection is optional However, while <br /> activities are occurring where the TWA sound level exceeds 85 decibels, all Radian personnel at <br /> the site must don maximum noise reduction-rated (NRR) hearing protection equipment it <br /> Climbing Hazards <br /> During drilling, personnel may have to work on equipment by climbing the mast <br /> The drilling subcontractor will ensure that climbing activities will conform to any applicable <br /> i <br /> National Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (NIOSH) and OSHA requirements The <br /> SRG will oversee these activities <br />� I <br /> Heat Stress <br /> Working in temperature extremes while wearing personal protective equipment <br /> (PPE) may lead to heat stress in the form of heat exhaustion and/or heat stroke <br /> Symptoms of heat exhaustion include dizziness, light-headedness, slurred speech, <br /> fatigue, fainting, copious perspiration, cool clammy skin, and an increased resting heart rate (110 <br /> beats per minute) Any employee exhibiting heat exhaustion symptoms shall immediately be <br /> removed from the active work site and requested to consume 2 to 4 pints of electrolyte fluid or <br /> cool water every hour The individual shall return to work only when the symptoms are no <br /> k 4-3 <br />
