Miner, Stockton <br />SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS <br />CLASS 1, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) <br />999. Observed seventeen spent lead acid battery beneath the pedestrian ram leading to the office; <br />unable to determine length of storage. <br />-- CCR 66266.80 and 66266.81 require spent lead acid batteries be managed within one year if <br />generator stores one ton or less at any single location, or within 180 days if stores more than one ton. <br />* Immediately dispose above spent lead acid batteries in accordance to Title 22, and submit a copy of <br />the disposal records to EHD by July 23, 2011. A fact sheet for management of spent lead acid batteries <br />has been provided. <br />NOTES <br />The facility is estimated to have generated less than 5 tons of hazardous waste in 2010. Facility is a <br />used car retailer and generates auto maintenance/repair hazardous waste. <br />52. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at <br />least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and <br />the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency <br />coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the <br />phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Discrepancy was corrected <br />on site. <br />A copy of Auto Repair management Practice fact sheet, CUPA class schedule, blank hazardous waste <br />labels, hazardous waste labeling fact sheet, and San Joaquin County Small Business Hazardous Waste <br />Disposal Program pamphlet, have been provided to generator during this inspection. <br />Submit the following to EHD by: July 23, 2011 <br />1) A completed copy of the (provided) Return to Compliance Certification (please keep original for <br />your records). <br />2) A written statement how each violation was corrected <br />3) Evidence (i.e. photos, disposal receipts, documents) in support of the corrections made. <br />ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($122). <br />THIS FACT ITY IS SUBJECT O REINSPN <br />ECTI AT ANY TIME AT EHD'S CURRENT HOURLY RATE. <br />EHD In or: <br />Recei ed By: <br />Title: <br />EHD f3-02-008 FW 0 H 0 C/ CONTINUATION FORM <br />
