Miner, Stockton SUMMARY OF VIOLATIONS CLASS 1, CLASS II, or MINOR -Notice to Comply) 999. Observed seventeen spent lead acid battery beneath the pedestrian ram leading to the office; unable to determine length of storage. -- CCR 66266.80 and 66266.81 require spent lead acid batteries be managed within one year if generator stores one ton or less at any single location, or within 180 days if stores more than one ton. * Immediately dispose above spent lead acid batteries in accordance to Title 22, and submit a copy of the disposal records to EHD by July 23, 2011. A fact sheet for management of spent lead acid batteries has been provided. NOTES The facility is estimated to have generated less than 5 tons of hazardous waste in 2010. Facility is a used car retailer and generates auto maintenance/repair hazardous waste. 52. An emergency coordinator and modified contingency plan information is lacking. There must be at least one emergency coordinator on site or on call to coordinate emergency response measures, and the following information must be posted by a phone: the name and phone number of the emergency coordinator; location of fire extinguishers, spill control equipment, and if present, fire alarm; and the phone number of the fire department, unless the facility has a direct alarm. Discrepancy was corrected on site. A copy of Auto Repair management Practice fact sheet, CUPA class schedule, blank hazardous waste labels, hazardous waste labeling fact sheet, and San Joaquin County Small Business Hazardous Waste Disposal Program pamphlet, have been provided to generator during this inspection. Submit the following to EHD by: July 23, 2011 1) A completed copy of the (provided) Return to Compliance Certification (please keep original for your records). 2) A written statement how each violation was corrected 3) Evidence (i.e. photos, disposal receipts, documents) in support of the corrections made. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($122).
