The two 55 -gallon drums of used oil and one 5 -gallon bucket of used oil referenced in Item #20/50 above were not closed. -- All hazardous waste containers shall be closed at all times except when adding or removing waste. Immediately close these containers and ensure all hazardous waste containers are closed when not adding or removing waste. Submit evidence of correction to EHD by July 23, 2011. 30. One 55 -gallon empty container of hazardous waste or hazardous material by the south wall of lot. -- Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied. * Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section, and submit evidence of correction to EHD by July 23, 2011. 60 & 63. No hazardous waste disposal records. -- Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. * Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by July 23, 2011. 79,82,83,84. Four Universal Waste fluorescent lamps against the south wall of the lot, and one waste CRT and one waste circuit board on the shelves inside the garage were not containerized, marked to identify the type of universal waste, or the initial date of accumulation. -- Universal Wastes shall be stored in a closed container that prevents breakage and release to the environment, labeled to identify the type of Universal Waste and the initial date of accumulation, managed within one year of storage, and retained a copy of the disposal receipt for at least 3 years on site. * Immediately dispose of the above Universal Waste - lamps and submit a copy of the disposal receipt to EHD by July 23, 2011. 85. Copies of Universal Waste disposal records were not found on site. -- A copy of the disposal receipts of Universal Waste, including but not limited to lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, and electronic devices, shall be retained on site available for inspection. * Immediately locate a copy of all Universal Waste disposal records for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by July 23, 2011. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($122).
