Observed one green metal 55 -gallon empty drum inside the building behind the laser cutter, four cut- off poly 55 -gallon drums outside the building, and two yellow metal 55 -gallon empty drums and one 15 - gallon and one 40 -gallon drums by the fence next to the property line. -- Containers larger than five gallons that previously held a hazardous material shall be marked with the date they were emptied and managed within one year of being emptied, * Immediately mark and manage all empty containers per this section. 60 & 63. Copies of hazardous waste disposal records were not found on site. -- Hazardous waste generators shall retain copies of all manifests signed off by the disposal facility and all receipts used in a consolidated manifesting procedure on site for three years and have them readily available for review. * Immediately locate a copy of all manifests and receipts for the last three years, maintain them on site, and submit copies to the EHD by March 14, 2011. 82, 83,84. Observed one Universal Waste (UW) CRT not managed in a manner that will prevent breakage outside the building by the shipping area. -- UW -CRT shall be stored in a manner that prevents breakage and release to the environment, and marked the type of UW and the initial date of accumulation. UW -CRT shall be managed within one year of storage. * Immediately dispose of the above UW -CRT and submit a copy of the disposal receipt to EHD by March 14, 2011. Begin managing all UW, not just CRT, in this manner in accordance to Title 22 Universal Waste Rule. 85. Copies of UW disposal receipts were not found on site- -- A copy of the disposal receipts of UW, including but not limited to lamps, alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, and electronic devices, shall be retained on site available for inspection, * Submit a copy of the disposal receipt of the UW to EHD by March 14, 2011, and begin retaining a copy of the UW disposal receipt on site for at least 3 years. ALL EHD STAFF TIME ASSOCIATED WITH FAILING TO COMPLY BY THE ABOVE NOTED DATES WILL BE BILLED AT THE CURRENT HOURLY RATE ($122).
