Facility shall submit electronic information for hazardous materials <br /> management system, including hazardous waste, on the CERS website, which can be found on http:.// <br /> cers.calepa.ca.gov/ . Immediately comply with the CERS electronic submittal requirement per this <br /> section by 10/11/2014. You may consider scheduling an appointment at the EHD office with an <br /> inspector to assist you toward this compliance requirement. Contact Jeffrey Wong at 468-0335, or other <br /> inspectors at 468-3427 to schedule such an appointment. <br /> Notes (following are not violations: <br /> Facility was found to be a hazardous waste generator during a business survey / complaint inspection <br /> on 9/4/2014. Facility generates hazardous waste from transmission works and auto repair. Victor the <br /> business owner has moved the business from its previous location at 1124 E. Main to the current <br /> location 1100 E. Main early this year. Facility generated 385 gallons (roughly translates to 1.54 tons) of <br /> used oil waste based on 2 disposal records in 2014. Facility has been entered into the EHD hazardous <br /> waste generator inventory. Please be aware an invoice for the Hazardous Waste Generator permit for <br /> 2014 will be mailed to you shortly. <br /> Discussed with Victor requirement retain hazardous waste disposal records (Item 122,125) for minimum <br /> of 3 years. <br /> Discussed with generator Universal Waste management requirements including aerosol cans, lamps, <br /> alkaline batteries, mercury containing switches, CRT, electronic devices, etc. in a closed container with a <br /> method to identify the content and the start date of accumulation.
