The roles of <br /> both the Waste Stream Monitor (Nelson Arreleano) and the Environmental Safety <br /> Manager(Tom Gaines) are explained to the employees. <br /> This training exercise went over the definition of hazardous material and hazardous <br /> waste. It covered the different points of entry that a person could be exposed to. It <br /> included a brief discussion on identifying hazardous materials. <br /> The course covered how to read MSDS Sheets as well as their location in the facility. <br /> The course also stressed the importance of labeling chemicals being used in the <br /> workplace. <br /> This course went over the different types of hazard signs that employees would see <br /> throughout the facility and how to identify each one. <br /> The course discussed who to contact in case of an emergency. <br />
