kdim�u-�rr'o��:r.� .�t:Gm!iizvs!rt �'c•��sz��t:t�Y <br />In a continuing effort to support our clientele, Advanced Chemical Transport is <br />proud to announce that we are offering a complimentary First Responder <br />Awareness Training. <br />Do you wbo work in an area where there is a potential to witness or discover an uncontrolled release of a <br />baZardous substance and areyour actions limited to initiating emergency response procedures by notifying the <br />proper authorities? Ifyou answeredyes, you must receive first responder awareness level training consistent <br />with the requirements of 29 CPR 1910.120(q)(6)(i). <br />This course is intended for those individuals who are likely to witness or discover a hazardous substance <br />release and who have been trained to initiate an emergency response sequence by notifying the authorities of <br />the release. First responders at the awareness level will receive training to demonstrate competency in the <br />following areas: <br />1. An understanding of what hazardous substances are, and the risks associated with them in an incident; <br />2. An understanding of the potential outcomes associated with an emergency created when hazardous <br />substances are present; <br />3. The ability to recognize the presence of hazardous substances in an emergency; <br />4. The ability to identify the hazardous substances, if possible; <br />5. The ability to use the 2012 Emergency Response Guidebook; and <br />6.
