• Identify areas within the it that are at the highest at risk of impa om flood waters and <br />relocate high value merWise to higher level areas of unit (mez « ine or second story <br />stockroom). <br />• Move chemicals, hazardous materials, firearms (if applicable) to higher level area in the unit. <br />• Deposit excess money if there is advance warning of the flood (If applicable). If a retail unit, the <br />unit should retain no more than $3,000.00 designated for local purchase requirements. <br />Immediately following the final deposit the unit should cancel armored car service until further <br />notice. <br />• If the location located within the projected path of the flood water or is expected to be impacted <br />contact Crisis Manager, immediately at 847-286-3674 to coordinate the evacuation of <br />merchandise, systems and equipment. <br />Stockroom/Warehouse/DC preparation <br />• Elevate merchandise onto pallets (3 high), or relocate merchandise and equipment into racking <br />or to the 2nd level within the unit (if applicable). <br />• Protect merchandise and equipment with plastic sheeting or relocate merchandise away from <br />known roof leaks. <br />Sales floor preparation (where applicable) <br />• Elevate Soft line Racks and remove merchandise from lower shelves. <br />• Relocate Hard line merchandise from lower shelves. <br />• Secure the following in the safe: <br />• Jewelry <br />• Cash <br />• Funds <br />• Money orders <br />Electrical Room <br />• Place sandbags 3 feet high around all entrance/exits to the electrical room(s). <br />Pharmacy (where applicable) <br />• Coordinate with Pharmacy District Manager to relocate Controlled Substances. <br />Auto Centers (where applicable) <br />• Request that customers retrieve their vehicles immediately <br />Records & Equipment <br />• Print a copy of a current associate contact list and distribute to the management team. <br />• Relocate important HR, LP, accident reports, and firearms records (where applicable) to a <br />secure location. <br />• Elevate office equipment, CCTV, POS Equipment, Servers and other electrical equipment to <br />counter level and cover with plastic sheeting. <br />• Based on time, the evacuation of merchandise out of unit to prevent the loss of goods or <br />move merchandise to locations with a higher elevation in a coordinated effort with the support <br />center transportation team. <br />30 <br />
