4011A <br /> v0 <br /> 5. Leak Detection and Containment: <br /> a) Tank is located inside of a building that has a concrete floor that slopes to a series of trench <br /> drains. Rinse water is pumped from the sumps at the ends of the trench drains directly into <br /> the buffer tank. <br /> b) The tank has an audible and visual alarm to notify that tank capacity is exceeded. <br /> 6. Corrosion Protection: <br /> Not applicable for plastic tank. <br /> 7. Secondary Containment: <br /> If the building drainage system reaches capacity, there is a large volume (20,000 Gal approx). <br /> 8. Hazardous Characteristics of Waste: <br /> Waste water is very diluted. Material is toxic. <br /> 9. Results of Visual Inspection: <br /> This system is simple and compact which allows for daily visual inspections that would <br /> immediately identify problems. There is no evidence of deterioration or structural inadequacies. <br /> 10. Results Tightness Test: <br /> The pressurized system and vented tank have no leaks. <br /> 11. Estimated Remaining Service Life: <br /> If this system is maintained and visually inspected for leaks and deterioration, it should function <br /> properly for at least another 20 years. <br /> Certificate of Compliance: <br /> I certify under penalty of law that this document and all attachments were prepared under my direct <br /> supervision in accordance with a system designed to assure that qualified personnel properly gather <br /> and evaluate the information submitted.
