the Bravo Installation Manual for the New Advanced Leak Detection
Procedure for Hydrostatic monitoring"(see Exhibit 1).
• The brine level will be monitored monthly for three months to verify that
the brine level remains constant
• The contractor will forward the brine level documentation to Chevron
Maintenance and Chevron HES.
■ If the brine level in a sump is below the reservoir demarcation line
then:
o Inspection and Documentation(see Step I.A above) actions
will be performed
o If visible leaks are observed, then:
• Brine reservoirs,tubing,tubing fittings,and clamps
shall be replaced as necessary.
• Sump test ports and sump walls shall be repaired by
a tank/sump manufacturer certified contractor only.
• If previously repaired and filled entry boots are
leaking the repair scenario will be escalated to
System Upgrade Actions(see Step III below)
B. Non-Visible Leaks (see Table 2)
If non-visible leaks are detected by the test methods employed in Step I above, all
penetration boots in that sump will be repaired and filled per the B1ueLine Technologies
boot repair method,"KFD Repair Kit Installation Instructions(for continuously
monitored sumps)"(see Exhibit 2).
After the repair(s)is(are) completed, the Bravo Systems Inc. "Installation Manual
for the New Advanced Leak Detection Procedure for Hydrostatic Monitoring"(see
Exhibit 1)will be performed to verify system tightness. If the repair(s)is(are)verified
tight,then:
• Brine will be reintroduced into the sump interstitial space according to the
method described in part B"Mandatory Hydrostatic Fill Instructions"of
the Bravo Installation Manual for the New Advanced Leak Detection
Procedure for Hydrostatic monitoring" (see Exhibit 1).
• The brine level will be monitored monthly for three months to verify that
the brine level remains constant
• The contractor will forward the brine level documentation to Chevron
Maintenance and Chevron HES.
■ If the brine level in a sump is below the reservoir demarcation line
then:
o Inspection and Documentation(see Step I.A above)actions
will be performed
o If visible leaks are observed, then:
• Visible Leaks actions(see Step II.A above)will be
performed
3
