Aris Cacapit, R.E.H.S.
San Joaqu;n County
Environmental Health Department -2- October 1, 2010
Response: Facility will be connected to sewer system (under separate submittal & permit)
Will this facility be on a private well or connected to the city water system?
Response: Facility will be connected to city water system (under separate submittal & permit)
How deep is the ground water?
Response: Per the soils report, no groundwater was found to a maximum explored depth of
35.5'. The underground tanks will be installed with deadman anchors
Will this facility have an oil water separator?
Response: Facility will be equipped with an oil/water separator (under separate submittal &
permit)
Will this facility have a storm water system?
Response: Facility will be connected to storm drain system (under separate submittal & permit)
For#15 of the compliance notes of page T-1, it describes that there will be water alert at 2 inches
with a 72 hour maintenance window before positive shutdown. We would like this to be changed
so that it is no longer discriminating, but that positive shutdown will occur immediately once the
sensor detects a leak.
Response: Plan sheet T-1, note No 15 has been revised to indicate that the sump sensors will
provide immediate shutdown upon detection of any liquid.
Per our conversation, we believe that the above responses, together with the enclosed revised plans and
technical documents, address all of the comments in your email dated September 10, 2010. Please
review and approve the enclosed at your earliest convenience. If you have questions or need additional
information, please do not hesitate to contact me at this office. Thank you.
Respectfully,
M.
