Monitor annular space pressure for 30 minutes for <br /> any loss in pressure from the initial readings which <br /> Figure 136-1 may indicate a leak. <br /> Valve Open Air Supply Valve Open 16. While under pressure, cover tank outer surface, <br /> Valve Closed including fittings and manway(s),with soap solution <br /> and inspect. <br /> 17. After completing air test, release pressure. <br /> i <br /> 18. Remove all gauges,valves, and hose assemblies. <br /> 19. Replace and tighten fitting plug(s). <br /> JpSig 20. Replace the plastic vent plug in the open fittings. <br /> 7. Close the valve on the"Tank Test Manifold." ' - • • ' ' ' <br /> Disconnect the air supply line. <br /> 8. Monitor the pressure readings for 30 minutes for <br /> any loss in pressure from the initial readings which <br /> may indicate a leak. Never pressurize a wet annular space.Doing so <br /> 9. Do not release air pressure. may damage the primary tank or cause tank failure. <br /> 10. Repeat steps 5 through 9 for each remaining This tank has a hydrostatic monitoring system that <br /> compartment(see Figure D6-2). includes a nontoxic(30%calcium chloride)green <br /> Figure D6-2 monitoring fluid pre-installed between the tank walls. <br /> In the unlikely event of a tank leak, this monitoring fluid <br /> Air Supply Valve Closed Valve Closed Air Supply will leave a green trace on the tank. <br /> If monitoring fluid is found on the tank inner or outer <br /> surface during any test, discontinue the installation <br /> and immediately contact Containment Solutions Field <br /> Service. <br /> Perform the following in the order listed. <br /> 5pstg 5psig 5psilgi 1.
