EMERGENCY RESPONSE PLAN <br />UNDERGROUND STORAGE TANK MON PORING PROGRx'MM <br />i nis monitoring program must be kept at the UST location at an times. The information on this monitoring <br />program are conditions of the operating permit. The permit holder must notify San Joaquin County <br />Environmental Health Division, phone (209) 468-3420 within 30 days of any changes m the monitoring <br />procedures, unless required to obtain approval before maldng the change. <br />Required by Setons Z632(d) and 2641(h) CCR <br />Facility Name DSS COMPANY <br />Facility Address 655 WEST CLAY STREET, STOCKTON, CALIFORNIA <br />i <br />1. If an unauthorized release occurs, how will the hazardous substance be cleaned up? <br />Note: If released hazardous substances reach the environment, increase the fire or <br />explosion hazard, are not cieaned ap from the secondary containment within 8 hours, <br />or deteriorate the secondary containment, then San Joaquin County Environmental <br />Health Division must be notified within 24 hours: <br />SEE ATTACHED HAZARDOUS WASTE CONTINGENCY PLAN "EXHIBIT A" <br />THIS PLAN ORIGINALLY SUBMITTED TO THE EPA IN 1997 AND ACCEPTED. <br />2. Descnbe the proposed methods and equipment to be used for removing and property <br />disposing of any hazardous substances: <br />DSS COMPANY HAS IN ITS POSSESSION THE ABILITY TO DIKE AND SPONGE <br />UP ANY LEAKS THAT MIGHT CAUSE CONTAMINATION TO THE STORM DRAINS. <br />HOWEVER THE DISPOSAL OF SUCH ITEMS ARE TO BE CONDUCTED BY A LICENSED CONTRACTOR <br />SPECIALIZING IN THE OFF HAUL AND REMOVAL OF SUCH ITEMS. <br />3. Describe the location and availability of the required cleanup equipment in item 2 <br />above: <br />CLEANUP EQUIPMENT IS LOCATED IN THE SHOP AND ON EACH FOREMEN'S TRUCK. <br />4. Describe the maintenance schedule for the cleanup equipment <br />N/A <br />5.
