PERSONAL PROTECTIVE EQUIPMENT <br />Based on evaluation of potential hazards, the following levels of personal protection have been <br />designated for the applicable work areas or task: <br />Exclusion Zone Drill borings A B C D Other <br />Reduction Zone Preserve samples A B C D Other <br />and log borings <br />Support Zone Support functions A B C D Other <br />Specific protective equipment for each level of protection used is follows: <br />Level D: <br />hard hat <br />steel -toed boots <br />half -faced respirator (if necessary) <br />gloves <br />safety glasses <br />If air purifying respirators are authorized, organic vapor and dust is the appropriate canister for use <br />with the involved substances and concentrations.
