Sur-faces must be dry before applying bonder. <br /> General Instructions for. BONDING TO POLY SUMPS OR FIBERGLASS SUMPS: Clean,sand and rough up sump surfaces. clean fitting and <br /> apply pjB_V between Bonding Ring&sump wall. <br /> STEP 1: Loosen&Clean Mounting Plate STEP 2: Clean all Repair Components STEP 3: Place 8,Dry Fit Bonding Ring&Sleeve <br /> • Remove clamp on the reducer at the pipe Clean all repair components with OBC Note: Make sure Bonding Fang is placed over the studs <br /> • Remove the nuts from the mounting plate prior to Installation between the sump wall&the mounting plate,with <br /> "Sealing Groves"positioned toward the sump wall and <br /> • Pull back the mounting plate split Cleaner Split the split part of the bonding ring toward the top <br /> • Clean off any'paste'or other bonders BondingSleeve Place the split bonding ring over the studs,between <br /> from around old Environ body&sump Ring the sump wall&the metal plate with the sealing <br /> wall, grooves toward the sump wall. <br /> • Seal up any cracks or rips in rubber boot Snug up the metal plate with a couple of flange nuts <br /> • Clean&sand sump wall Place the split sleeve over the pipe&unto the <br /> • Spray Environ body&sanded sump wall bonding ring with the fill port up <br /> with DBC cleaner if everything fits properly,then loosen the nuts&pull <br /> • <br /> back the mounting plate again to bond the parts <br /> Eccentric Insert Multi-Sync <br /> Reducer <br /> AL. <br /> L-You <br /> must seal any open space <br /> between the pipe &old boot area <br /> STEP S Install Bonding Ring&Mounting Plate STEP 6- Install The Sleeve <br /> It <br /> - Seal around old boot&pipe,if needed <br /> w <br /> ....... Apply DBB V to the sump side of the Bonding <br /> Ring and slide it over the studs&up to the - Slide In the sleeve with the fill port at the top. <br /> sump wall DO NOT push the sleeve over the snap ring <br /> Slide in the mounting plate Once you have the sleeve lined up correctly, <br /> • Reinstall the flange nuts.Tighten snugly 1.Pull back the sleeve a little <br /> Reinstall the pipe clamp on the old boot 2.Apply a bead of DBB III all around the outer Note: Do not Over-tighten. Snug is okedges of the bonding ring <br /> • Wipe any excess DBB V off the bonding ring 3.Slide sleeve over bonding ring&snap in place <br /> Spray DBC onto cloth&wipe clean the outer (fill port at top) <br /> edges f the bonding ring. 4.Set the Clamp the around the sleeve&over <br /> STEP 4: Bond Sleeve&Bonding Ring the bonding ring and,tighten",snugly'. <br /> • Apply DBB III to split bonding ring.
