Gilbarco already <br />had a long record of successful <br />product innovation. But we <br />believed we could do better. <br />And that's how The Advantage" <br />series was born. <br />Our corporate quality policy recognizes that quality "is so much a way of life" at Gilbarco that <br />it goes far beyond rhetorical slogans. More than a year of planning, listening, evaluating, and changing went into <br />the first models in The Advantage <br />series. Customers talked about what <br />they wanted. Service contractors -- <br />talked about what they needed. And <br />our engineers designed and designed <br />again. Tested and tested again. .,. <br />The first dispenser came off the <br />drawing board and into the field for <br />trials in early 1990. And our <br />interdisciplinary teams went through <br />the examination process again, <br />intensely focused, aiming for success. <br />Because we're Gilbarco. And that's <br />The Advantage. <br />The Advantage series is more than <br />just a product family.
