Contact the Fire Department, Local Planning or Building Department, and San Joaquin Valley Air Pollution Control District for applicable permits. 2. Contact Garrett Backus (209) 468-2986 to arrange the following inspection appointments (a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments): a. A soap test to verify pipeline integrity. Isolate and pressurize the pipe following the manufacturer's guidelines. 3. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of the following: a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), and a. All valid, current California UST certificates issued by the International Code Council (ICC), that are applicable to the work being performed, and b. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced. and c. Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of training from the manufacturer of that component.
