Contact the Fire Department, Local Planning or Building Department, and San Joaquin <br />Valley Air Pollution Control District for applicable permits. <br />2. Contact Garrett Backus (209) 468-2986 to arrange the following inspection <br />appointments <br />(a 48-hour notice is required for inspection appointments): <br />a. A soap test to verify pipeline integrity. Isolate and pressurize the pipe <br />following the manufacturer's guidelines. <br />3. Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal <br />supervision of an individual physically present at the work site who possesses all of <br />the following: <br />a. One of several permissible valid, current contractor's licenses issued by the <br />Contractors State License Board (may be issued to the installation company), and <br />a. All valid, current California UST certificates issued by the International Code <br />Council (ICC), that are applicable to the work being performed, and <br />b. A valid, current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s) of the <br />component(s) being tested, repaired, or serviced. <br />and <br />c.
