ARC® PRODUCTS COMPANY FACILITY WITH <br />SINGLE WALL USE® OIL TANK <br />ARCO Facility J���Address &2— J,' _ Ltk <br />MINIET MW <br />Manual tank gauging will be performed in accordance with the details of Section 2645, Article <br />4, Title 23, CCR (copy attached and hereby incorporated). <br />At a minimum, the OPERATOR will conduct gauging weekly according to the following <br />instructions: <br />A Tank liquid level measurements shall be taken at the beginning and ending of a gauging <br />period which shall be at least 36 continuous hours during which no liquid is added to or <br />removed from the tank. Record measurements on gauging log (Exhibit A attached.) <br />B. The underground storage tank shall be secured to prevent inputs or withdrawals during <br />the gauging period. No inputs shall occur within the 12 -hour period preceding the <br />gauging period. <br />O The liquid level measurements shall be based on an average of two consecutive stick <br />readings at both the beginning and ending of the period. <br />D. Measure the level of the product over the full range of the tank's height to the nearest <br />one-eighth of an inch. <br />E If the variation between beginning and ending measurements exceeds the weekly or <br />monthly standards (Exhibit B); a second 36 hour test shall be commenced <br />immediately and all measurements and calculations checked for possible errors. If the <br />second test confirms a variation which exceed the weekly or monthly standards, then an <br />unauthorized release shall be suspected. <br />PV, <br />
