Qualified service technicians must possess or work under the direct and personal supervision of an <br /> individual physically present at the work site, at all times while work is being performed,who possesses all <br /> of the following: <br /> • One of several permissible valid,current contractor licenses issued by the Contractors State <br /> License Board(may be issued to the installation company), and <br /> • A valid,current California UST Service Technician certificate issued by the International Code <br /> Council(ICC),and <br /> • A valid,current certificate of training from the manufacturer(s)of the component(s)being <br /> tested,repaired,or serviced. <br /> Additionally, <br /> Each person installing or testing any component must hold a certificate of training from the <br /> manufacturer of that component. <br /> 6. All piping,fittings, sumps,under-dispenser containment and tanks must be certified by an independent <br /> testing organization and labeled as required by the organization. (UL,ULC,ANSI,API,ASTM,etc. See <br /> Title 23 Chapter 16 Table B for complete list.)Pursuant to Underwriters Laboratories Inc(UL)listing <br /> requirements, only those products bearing the UL mark will be considered listed. ANY PART/PRODUCT <br /> NOT MARKED WITH THE UL LABEL OR ANOTHER LISTED TESTING ORGANIZATION <br /> WILL BE REJECTED. <br /> 7. All monitoring systems shall be listed in the LG 113 letter. <br /> 8. All installation and testing shall be in compliance with manufacturer's instructions, section 2635 and section <br /> 2636 of California Code of Regulations(CCR). <br /> 9. All piping must slope to a containment sump with an audible/visual alarm. <br /> 10. The secondary containment system must be continuously monitored as required under California Health& <br /> Safety Code(HSC)25290.1 <br /> 11. All metal components in direct contact with the ground such as flexible connectors, swing joints, fittings, <br /> clamps,bands, and pumps shall have corrosion protection. <br /> 12. Any changes shall be submitted to the EHD for approval prior to commencing work.All new submittals <br /> supersede the previous ones. <br /> 13. A"Certification of Installation/Modification"form for each tank shall be submitted by the owner or the <br /> owners'agent [pursuant to California Code of Regulation(CCR) 2635(d)] before this install will be <br /> considered complete by EHD. <br /> 14. An accurate and drawn to scale as-built plan must be submitted to the EHD prior to scheduling a final <br /> inspection. <br /> 15. No gasoline, diesel,or other hazardous material or waste can be released(intentionally or unintentionally)to <br /> the sewer/septic, storm water system, or any other waters of the state. If a release occurs it will be <br /> considered illegal hazardous waste disposal and will be subject to enforcement. <br /> 16.
