Cherokee Lane
Lodi, CA
Tesoro Refining and Marketing Company
3450 South 344th Way, Suite 201
Auburn, WA 98001-5931
253 896 8700
253 896 8887 Fax
As per your inspection of 1/20/11:
• items 10 & 12 — Work was completed on the electrical conduit on February 18, 2011. It is my understanding
you were there to sign off on the permit. The permit for replacing the 89 sensor and the electrical conduit
repair was approved on January 26, 2011.
• Item I I — 89 STP sump sensor was relocated on the day of inspection.
• Item I I — 92 STP sump sensor was relocated as per your request. However, the sensor was originally placed
on the side of the tank where the product piping enters the sump. Which I thought was the regulations.
Please correct me if I interpreted the regulations wrong. Also, I reviewed all my past inspections back to
2007 and I do not show where the site was written up for sensors not being in the lowest part of the sump. I
feel this is not a repeat violation.
• Item 17 — Needs no action.
• Enclosed is a copy of the Return to Compliance for this site.
Should you have any questions or concerns please do not hesitate to contact me at (559) 585-8156 or email me at
Sgpdra.F.Edward.statsggor2.com .
Sincerely yours,
Sandy Edwards
Environmental Compliance Administrator
Tesoro West Coast Companies, LLC
