There is one device per product.
This device is designed to cut the fuel flow down to a trickle
when it senses a leak or pressure drop in the product line.
There are several reasons for this device to tripe
1. A customer can hold the nozzle open before turning on the
pump, thus tripping it.
2. In cold weather, the product can contract while the station
is closed at night.
3. The device could be defective.
4. The device is sensing a leak.
If the leak detector trips, you can reset it by simply turning on
one of the gas dispensers of that product type and letting it run
for a minimum of 30 seconds without dispensing fuel from that
nozzle or any other of that product type. This pressurizes the
line and resets the detector.
If the leak detector continues to trip or starts to trip every
morning, CALL THE MAINTENANCE DEPARTMENT 800-328-9966
If you cannot get the detector to reset or it trips more than
once, then call the Maintenance Department and shut the product
down that is giving the problem.
NOTE: You do not have to shut the whole gas island down, gust the
prodUct type that is giving you trouble.
b) LEAK -X OR LEAK SENSOR II - In the backroom of the stere is a
a
I
