• <br />1-2 Liquid Crystal Display -1 <br />The LCD shows various tank information such as: <br />product level (in inches or cm); temperature (°F or <br />°C); volume (Gal. or Liters, gross and net); last <br />delivery information (gross and net); and internal/ <br />external probe alarm/warning conditions. It is also <br />used to perform User Friendly Fuel Ordering and to <br />view the external probe status (EMS -3000 only). <br />1-3 Keyswitch <br />The keyswitch is used to select one of the three <br />operating modes of the EMS. The following is a brief <br />description of each: <br />ATG LEAK TEST - This position is used to enable <br />(activate) or disable (de -activate) selected <br />Automatic Tank Gauge probes for a leak check. <br />Once a tank or manifold group of tanks has been <br />enabled or disabled, the keyswitch should be <br />returned to the normal position. <br />NOTE: If the Automatic Leak Test option has <br />been selected, a manual ATG Leak Test <br />cannot be activated. <br />NORMAL - This position is used for normal <br />operation. <br />MAINTENANCE - This position is used to program: <br />tank parameters; alarm thresholds; and auto leak <br />test start/stop times. It is also used to conduct <br />system troubleshooting and corrective <br />maintenance. <br />NOTE: Only authorized service personnel should <br />utilize the maintenance mode of the EMS. <br />Unauthorized service on the EMS may <br />void the warranty. Call Tidel°s Service <br />Department at 1-800-678-7577 if you have <br />questions. <br />N <br />1-4 Keypad <br />The keypad consists of control keys (grey or red <br />background) and data entry keys (white background). <br />The control keys are used to display information for <br />selected tank(s) or a manifold group of tanks. The - <br />control keys are also used to obtain printed reports. <br />These functions require the entry of additional <br />information using the data entry keys. - <br />I>! 01-11 Uj= <br />1-5 Printer <br />Several printed reports may be obtained on the <br />21 -column, dot-matrix impact printer. The printer uses <br />a standard 2-1/4" roll of adding machine paper. <br />
