Z-0 Theft Detect ModeW <br />The EMS may be programmed to monitor a tank or a <br />--manifold group of tanks to detect unauthorized removal <br />of product during a specified time interval (e.g., when <br />the facility is closed). <br />In the Theft Detect Mode, the system continuously <br />monitors the product level, the average product <br />--temperature and records any deviation in the net <br />volume. A theft alarm will be activated if the net <br />gallons decrease more than the programmed theft limit. <br />--The Theft Detect Mode can be activated two (2) <br />different ways: <br />1. By preprogrammed start and stop times. <br />2. By remote communications via telephone <br />modems or direct communications. <br />Upon conclusion of the Theft Detect Mode time <br />interval, a Theft Report will be printed (See Figure 8) <br />or a Leak Test Disable Report.
