In the event of a LARGE SPILL: <br /> *Evacuate the hazard area of unprotected personnel. <br /> *Notify on-site Safety Officer and GTE <br /> *Wear appropriate respirator and protective clothing. <br /> *Shut off source of leak only if safe to do so. <br /> *Dike and contain. <br /> *If vapor cloud forms, water fog may be used to suppress. Contain <br /> runoff. <br /> *Remove with vacuum truck or pump to storage/vessel. <br /> *Soak up residue with an absorbent (e.g., vermiculite or other <br /> suitable material). <br /> *Place in non-leaking containers for disposal. <br /> *Flush area with water to remove trace residue. <br /> *Dispose of flush solutions as above. <br /> 3. In the event of a SMALL SPILL: <br /> *Soak up with absorbent material and place in non-leaking <br /> containers. <br /> *Seal tightly and identify container for proper disposal. <br /> 8.0E EENCIES IN THE FIELD <br /> 1.
