This manual covers the installation <br />procedures for RED THREAD® IIA <br />product and secondary containment <br />pipe and fittings. <br />Part One details installation proce- <br />dures for 2", 3" and 4" (50, 75 and <br />100mm) diameter primary product <br />piping. <br />Part Two covers installation proce- <br />dures for 3", 4", 5" and 6"11' (75, 100, <br />125 and 150mm) diameter second- <br />ary containment piping. <br />Part Three describes the installation <br />procedures for our 100% telescoping <br />containment piping. <br />�. . :.... <br />IMPORTANT NOTE ON ULC LISTING <br />At the time of printing, tests were ongoing with Underwriters' Laboratories <br />of Canada (ULC) to expand the products covered. Please specify "ULC" <br />when inquiring or ordering. <br />Note Options for Adhesives <br />In addition to the primary, secondary and telescoping pipe and fittings, the <br />following adhesives are listed by Underwriters Laboratories Inc. (UL): <br />•DS -7000 series adhesives for: <br />primary systems -petroleum only <br />secondary containment systems -petroleum, alcohols and <br />alcohol/gasoline blends <br />*DS -8000 series adhesives for: <br />primary & secondary containment systems -petroleum, <br />alcohols and alcohol/gasoline blends. <br />• DS -4000 series adhesives for: <br />primary systems only -petroleum, alcohols and alcohol/gasoline <br />blends <br />It is the policy of Smith Fiberglass Products to improve its products continually.
